“AIA membership will be a great tool for Dreambuilder,” says Shawn Starr, president. “Building relationships with architects in our area allows not only for mutual referral of work but creates a knowledge and skill resource that is vital in custom homebuilding, especially on the higher end. As a design/build firm, Dreambuilder can work with the client on the home design and then take it to an architect for blueprinting, or, should the project require it, we can bring the architect in from the beginning as a consultant. Sometimes a client will come to us with an architect already in their employ. We can work with any scenario as the project requires.”
The Jacksonville chapter of the AIA serves over 800 local members, including architects, associates and allied members, and is part of a 150-year-old national organization with thousands of members nation-wide.
