Dreambuilder 22 Architectural Rendering

Dreambuilder Custom Homes is pleased to announce Dreambuilder 22, our latest custom home project.  Dreambuilder 22 is located on a beautiful lakefront homesite in prestigious Pablo Creek Reserve, a gated community located just west of the Intracoastal in Jacksonville.

This is the third home we’ve built in Pablo Creek Reserve and is the first that we’ve done in the Spanish Colonial style.  The simple, ‘whitewashed’ exterior, low pitched barrel tile roof and recessed casement windows are all emblematic of this architectural style.

Inside, the details are subtle yet beautiful.  Ceiling treatments abound, from the coffered ceilings in the great room and dining room to the barrel vaults in the kitchen and master bath.  Best of all, most rooms have direct lake views.  Designed for outdoor living, the home features a large lanai with outdoor kitchen, firepit and room for a pool.

There’s plenty of room for everyone in this four or five bedroom, five and a half bath home — and you can see the plans in our Dream Home Gallery.  With just over 3,800 SF of living space, Dreambuilder 22 is available for purchase through the Pablo Creek Reserve sales office for $909,900.  Contact Myrna Hanson today for more information at (904) 992-0383 or mhanson@pablocreek.net.

The home is targeted for completion in December of this year — but you can follow our progress on Dreambuilder’s Facebook page — go to the photo album for Dreambuilder 22. And be sure and become a fan of our page today for further updates on this and our other projects.

Dreambuilder 21

Dreambuilder 21

Dreambuilder 21, a custom home in prestigious Pablo Creek Reserve, has just broken ground.  Dreambuilder Custom Homes is proud to collaborate with owner Steven Starkey in the design and construction of his new home.

Having completed Dreambuilder 18 earlier this year to wide acclaim, we here at Dreambuilder are excited to build our second home in the community — with a third, Dreambuilder 22, currently in plan development.

We’re also excited at that this new home will be in the French Eclectic style, which will be new to our portfolio.  This style is symmetrical and pleasing to the eye, placing an emphasis on balance, gentle curves and lines of sight.  Steven chose this style for these reasons as well as the desire to do something a little different, architecturally speaking, in Pablo Creek Reserve, which is largely populated by variants of Mediterranean architecture.

The French Eclectic style is a traditional one, and Steven desired to freshen it up a bit with a contemporary interpretation.  Dreambuilder helped Steven design a sleek, clean look to the design, with minimal embellishment and subtle detailing on the exterior while maintaining traditional massing, including the front portico with iron detailing.  On the interior, a muted color palette of whites and grays create a soothing, modern color palette, highlighted with marble countertops, stainless finishes and mouldings in all main rooms.

The home is targeted for completion in the spring of 2014 — but you can follow our progress on Dreambuilder’s Facebook page — go to the photo album for Dreambuilder 21.  And be sure and become a fan of our page today for further updates on this and our other projects.

From Houzz and Dreambuilder: Creating the Farmhouse Style

Wednesday, June 19th, 2013

We came across this article on Houzz outlining nine ways to create the farmhouse style in your own home.  While a couple of the items had to do with furniture, several had to do with the architecture and finishes of the home.  We were happy to see that these elements are clearly represented in our recently completed farmhouse in Pablo Creek Reserve, Dreambuilder 18:
