Dreambuilder 21, a custom home in prestigious Pablo Creek Reserve, has just broken ground. Dreambuilder Custom Homes is proud to collaborate with owner Steven Starkey in the design and construction of his new home.
Having completed Dreambuilder 18 earlier this year to wide acclaim, we here at Dreambuilder are excited to build our second home in the community — with a third, Dreambuilder 22, currently in plan development.
We’re also excited at that this new home will be in the French Eclectic style, which will be new to our portfolio. This style is symmetrical and pleasing to the eye, placing an emphasis on balance, gentle curves and lines of sight. Steven chose this style for these reasons as well as the desire to do something a little different, architecturally speaking, in Pablo Creek Reserve, which is largely populated by variants of Mediterranean architecture.
The French Eclectic style is a traditional one, and Steven desired to freshen it up a bit with a contemporary interpretation. Dreambuilder helped Steven design a sleek, clean look to the design, with minimal embellishment and subtle detailing on the exterior while maintaining traditional massing, including the front portico with iron detailing. On the interior, a muted color palette of whites and grays create a soothing, modern color palette, highlighted with marble countertops, stainless finishes and mouldings in all main rooms.
The home is targeted for completion in the spring of 2014 — but you can follow our progress on Dreambuilder’s Facebook page — go to the photo album for Dreambuilder 21. And be sure and become a fan of our page today for further updates on this and our other projects.
