Shawn Starr leads each project with a belief that a custom home should be as thoughtful to live in as it is beautiful to look at. A Jacksonville native and licensed contractor since 2007, he brings deep experience in design, construction and client guidance to every home Starr® Custom Homes creates.
His approach is rooted in listening carefully, planning intelligently and helping clients make decisions with clarity and confidence. The result is a home that feels personal and enduring — along with a building experience that feels just as intentional.

Reverie Design Interiors
Starr® Custom Homes is one of the few custom builders to include the services of an interior designer as part of the design-build process. Josie Myers, owner and principal of Reverie Design Interiors, brings over 20 years of experience guiding clients through the selections that shape a new home and has collaborated with SCH for more than 10 years.
Reverie Design Interiors can also assist with furnishings and decorating after move-in, helping extend the design vision through the final layers of the home.
