Meet Shawn Starr, your personal builder and Owner of Starr® Custom Homes.
A Jacksonville native, Shawn Starr has been a state-certified building contractor since 2007. Prior to becoming a contractor, Shawn designed DreamDesign®2 and had it built for his family. He experienced the adventure of custom building and the contentment of living in a home that was beautiful, unique and ideally created for his family – every room with a unique architectural feature…closets in all the right places and sizes…a place for special furniture and collectibles. Now, this first-hand knowledge drives his passion for custom building your vision for your own new home.
Prior to founding Starr® Custom Homes, Shawn earned his BS and MBA at Jacksonville University and served as the contractor and vice-president of purchasing for Standard Pacific Homes/CalAtlantic Homes, one of the nation’s leading production homebuilders. During his tenure, Shawn permitted more than 250 homes – so you can be confident that solid experience will be the foundation of your project.
