Starr® Custom Homes latest project is DreamDesign®33, a 5500 SF home on the river in beautiful Beauclerc.
A well-established neighborhood, Beauclerc offers mature oaks and homesites high on bluffs overlooking the St Johns River. Our clients, Mel and Sue Tilak, found the perfect homesite for their new home. After consulting with SCH, the Tilaks asked us to demolish the existing home that was in disrepair in order to make room for their five-bedroom custom design.
Uniquely created for their family, DreamDesign®33 provides space not only for the Tilaks and their children in private spaces upstairs but also two first-floor guest suites for long-term guests that often visit. A large ‘reception room’ designed for formal parties as well as an even larger great room with two-story ceilings provides plenty of space for entertaining. A wet bar with access to both rooms is also accessible from the expansive lanai, and a home theatre provides additional entertaining possibilities.
Large walls of glass from nearly every room in the house take in the river views, and two balconies enable one to relax in the cool of the day over the sounds of the river. An outdoor kitchen with grill, refrigerator, and sink makes outdoor entertaining a breeze.
The luxury finishes in the home are too numerous to list but include Miele appliances, quartz countertops, semi-custom cabinetry and custom-laid tile.
